Audrey + Marcin's Aretha Franklin Estate Wedding
Audrey and Marcin’s wedding was centered around (aside from their love, of course!) the historic architecture of Detroit. The couple and their families stayed at the newly renovated home of the late Aretha Franklin, now known as The Rose Estate; and also hosted their wedding reception there as well, making the getting ready process both beautiful and easy.
Their ceremony, housed in Detroit’s historic cathedral, Sweetest Heart of Mary, was the first venue their guests arrived at. A perfect way to kick off their celebration.
After the ceremony, guests transitioned to The Rose Estate, where they were greeted by cocktails and canapés on the patio. After cocktail hour, just as a light spring rain began, guests enjoyed dinner and dancing under the stars to the tunes of Detroit classics.
